The 4th edition of the symposium covered scientific aspects of epigenetic inheritance, ranging from epidemiology to behavior, metabolism, and methodologies in humans and animal models.
The symposium featured 17 keynote lectures from leaders in the field of epigenetics, a short presentation selected from submitted abstracts and 10 flash talks by poster presenters.
The symposium provided a platform for thought leaders to discuss the current state of re-search as well as newly gained findings, to consider the implications for biology and how these insights can open novel perspectives for medical research and the society.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn, exchange ideas and debate about new advances and discoveries during the symposium's lectures and the dedicated poster sessions, as well as during an additional workshop, organized with the support of the Sir John Templeton Foundation.
To continue the symposium's tradition of combining science and art, we also organized an art exhibition featuring art pieces created by participants on the theme of epigenetic inheritance.
